  • Largest Solar Plant in Texas, Coming Soon
    Canadian renewable energy company, Innergex, has bought what will be the largest solar project in Texas when built. At full capacity it will have the ability to power 53,000 households by the end of 2019. Innergex has acquired the rights to begin work on the Phoebe Solar Farm, and 250-megawatt solar project in Winkler County, Texas on the border of New Mexico.
  • Texas Oil Refinery Adds Solar Component
    A planned oil refinery complex in Pecos County, Texas is adding an add-on of solar power to its business plan. MMEX Resources CEO, Jack W. Hanks emailed Rigzone to announce that they have “formed MMEX Solar Resources, LLC and filed the trademark to develop a solar power project to potentially supply solar power renewable energy to our refinery projects in Phases 1 and 2.”
